In einem Instagram-Post berichtete Schröder am Dienstag von seinem Unfall, schrieb: „Vollbremsung auf dem Weg zum Norseman: Ein Sturz, ein Knacken, schon war das Trainingscamp vorbei, bevor es richtig angefangen hatte.“ Dazu stellte er einen kurzen Clip, der ihn beim Schwimm- und Fahrradtraining zeigt – bevor er dann auf dem Boden sitzend zu sehen ist.
